The Fall issue of the Canadian Scrapbooker is out and it is looking mighty fine! In this issue there is my article, 'Do the Doodle' , and I am trying to get EVERYONE addicted to the DOODLING!!!

Doodle – doo·dle

Verb:

Scribble absentmindedly.

Noun:

A rough drawing made absentmindedly.

Doodling can be SO relaxing!

New Day stamp

So what do you need to doodle:

Basics:

~ Paper, sketch book

(I love using a MOLESKIN book to create a doodle book for myself)

Treat yourself to a good quality black pen like a Zig memory Writer or Kuretake Millennium. The ink is fade proof & archival quality.

Extras:

~ Colored pens

~ Water colors

~ Glitter pens

~ Inks

~ Water brushes

So I am having a giveaway this fall to get you start with your doodling.

Let me know why you like to doodle and come like my Facebook page. Share this with your friends and let them catch the Doodle Bug. Be sure to leave a comment here….you have until September 21,2012.

I am giving away a package of Kuretake's ZIG Memory System Chalk Writers. These are AWESOME for doodling, drawing & writing! So don't miss out!                                         ZIG Writer Chalk Pastel Colours Wallets

  5. Susan - I like to doodle because it pushes me out of my comfort zone!!! I love working with beautiful papers and stamps, but doodling challenges me to add my own style and signature to the piece! I often worry that I am going to "ruin" the projects, but it really can be so satisfying to see "me" in each piece!
